hi guys! im back! haha, will try to summarise my HK trip. 27th Nov was feeling real excited! the plane is cool, with personal TVs, mini toilets & delicious meals! (got ice cream) reached the airport & off we go to our hotel by the hotel's van. a seven seater van, damn comfortable! my hotel room is very small. after that shopped at areas around our hotel. bought their ez-link card & we got to sit on the MTR. their MTR is our MRT. the stations there have funny names! like rainbow, prince edward, jordan... my hotel is at jordan. :) basically, first day is just about exploring~ 28th Nov we have a tour guide only on the second day. they brought us to a jewellery shop and some lousy "shopping centres" then we went to Avenue Of Stars! see the hand prints left by famous celebrities! then we went to Lan Tau Island(大屿山). damn nice lah there! we have to sit the cable car to go up there. (25mins) we were so high above! then there's a Giant Buddha statue. we have to climb up! it's a very beautiful place! we had vegetarian food there & they are so damn delicious!!!!!!! 29th Nov went Ocean Park! the admission fee is HK$208. (w/o bus fare) damn ex............................ :( then we have to sit the DAMN SUPER LONG escalator to go up to Ocean Park. the escalator is about 5 times of ours & there are 4 of them! actually i think it's a small place. no much games. we went to sit merry go round, cable cars and so on.... i even tried the bungee jump! just keep jumping. -.- we saw PANDAS!!!!!!! I LOVE PANDA!!!!!! damn cute lah, they keep eating one!!!!!! then we went to see the Jellyfishes. many kinds of them!!!!!!!!!! and there is one that look like contact lens, haha! beautiful scene with the colours changing!!! then we went to see sealions and dolphins performances!!! DAMN CUTE ALSO! THEY ARE SO CLEVER!!! & their performance are better than those at our zoo. :P 30th Nov went to sit a different kind of MTR, Qing Tie. went to Wetland Park. got alot of birds and crocodiles and flowers and basically just NATURE. :) there is this VERY HUGE SNAKE. they have a lot of exhibitions and i really enjoyed myself! 1st Dec last day. went to have yummy breakfast and walked around. we saw this mobile library. it's just a big truck with books inside and is park just on the road! cool huh! went to WangDaXian temple too. set off to the airport at 4pm. their airport is larger than ours i think. and our gate number is 62.................... walked quite long! reached SG airport at 12am plus. they bought wine and off we go home by taxi. slept soon after~ i enjoyed myself for this trip. it's cold in the morning and you will have to wear 2 jackets & then it will be so hot in the afternoon and cold in the night. im having dry hands/legs/mouth. and my skin even cracked. disgusting huh. haha, but now okay alr. just that my chin still red. :( i didn't buy alot of things... infact is very little. cause there's nothing i want to buy. but we did went quite a number of places and i think thats enuff. the food there damn ex!!!!! one fried rice cost you $11 sing. Things that I found out about HK -moutains everywhere -tall buildings -lots of banners hanging -elecric bus that have to work by having antennas connected to some "power lines" -if you shop at 女人街, you will find that they don't put price tags. -stall owners at 女人街 are extremely friendly towards americans. -macdonalds there are cheaper! -very few toilets -many streets! like if you are at the ABC street right now, just walk a few steps and you might find yourself in the DEF street. -many many people! like they don't need to work! -people shop at night & i mean night! -their MTR is a lot longer than ours! i think thats all. photos............soon! hope you guys won't feel bored & i seriously wanna praise those that can finish reading my post. hehe. see ya guys. time to find a job! |
